I need help and information on a small problem that my Xbox 360 has just done. It has Scratched my Saints Row game disc with the dreaded "Circle Scratches." and made it unplayable. I need some information and advise on how to fix this problem WITHOUT having to buy a new Xbox 360 or having to bitch at Microsoft about it. Any help?

If that's what happened to you then there's nothing wrong with the 360. Just don't move it from the upright to the horizontal position (or the other way around) while it is on because that's what caused the scratches on the game.
Unfortunately, your going to have to replace the CD.
That's the only case of the circle scratches that I know of, so if none of this sounds familiar, then it's something different that I don't know of and can't help you in.
Luckly. I found some interesting information. Most of the xboxes have no rubber bumpers. Meaning? Rubber bumpers keep the disc from hitting the reading lazer. Therefore keeping it from scratching the Disc. But most Xbox360s don't have them in the drive. Only the thompson drive has them. I found a site where you can order the rubber bumpers for about 4 dollars. The only thing you have to worry about is taking apart your Xbox and putting them in there.
So for now i have one option for my Xbox360 problem. If your interested. I can give ya the link.

But ever since our case of the circle scratches way back when the 360 was released, we never had the problem again and we don't have the bumpers.
Think hard on whether or not to get the bumpers because I don't think anyone really needs them.
I did notice this little quote from the link you gave: "That is where the DVD now hits when we quickly tip it from a vertical to horizontal position."
I'm pretty sure if you don't quickly tip it from a vertical to horizontal position you shouldn't have anymore problems and without needing to buy the pads.
